PHOTO TIPS
Helpful suggestions
Deciding which photograph to use can be difficult at times, I have a few guidelines that will hopefully be helpful....
A clear photograph produces a good portrait with great detail... however there are a few things that make a photo "suitable" for a drawing:
A high quality photograph must be clear and bright, preferably with a good reflection in the subjects eyes.
The more details visible on the photograph, the more realistic the drawing will become.
Please send all correspondence and photographs to studioealain@gmail.com I have a waiting list and open and close my commission slots every few months so that I can catch up on work.

Artwork is sent with a mount but unframed. This is because a frame is an extremely personal choice. Please remember that artwork can take up to a week to complete from when I start to draw, or often longer if there are several animals in the portrait.
